At 5:30pm on Wednesday, March 21, at Yr Atom, Carmarthen; the Welsh rugby player Ken Owens will launch a new digital resource on Mudiad Meithrin’s website that aims to support prospective volunteers and management committee members of voluntary Welsh-medium playgroups. The new resource will include all the necessary information for committees.
Lou Stevens Jones of Mudiad Meithrin said:
"Our bread and butter work as an organisation is to support, assist and give advice to members representing the Day Nurseries, Cylchoedd Meithrin and Cylchoedd Ti a Fi. For some years we’ve provided an intranet for our members, but with this new section on our website, we have a new digital resource for anyone wishing to volunteer on the committee of a Cylch Meithrin (Welsh-medium playgroup) or Cylch Ti a Fi. This support is key so that individuals can understand the extent of their responsibilities".
Leanne Marsh, Head Of Development Services at Mudiad Meithrin said:
"We are always looking to enrich and improve the resources available to our Cylchoedd. This is the latest in a series of new resources related to raising quality and standards in Cylchoedd Meithrin. I hope that current committee members and prospective members will benefit from this new resource".
The launch will be held at 5:30 on the evening of Wednesday 21 at the Atom, Carmarthen (where Cylch Meithrin Myrddin is also located). There will be pictures to follow or you are welcome to attend.
