Mudiad Meithrin will launch a new booklet full of exciting ideas and activities for cylchoedd Ti a Fi (baby and toddler groups) at Cylch Ti a Fi Y Dreflan, Mold at 10:00am Wednesday morning, November 30, 2016.
The Mudiad is grateful to the Big Lottery Fund and Welsh Government for their financial support. This has enabled both the publication of the booklet and training sessions for group leaders on how to make the best use of the resource. The booklet offers advice on how to conduct a session in a cylch Ti a Fi group. Every cylch Ti a Fi will receive a copy of the booklet as part of the Mudiad’s national training programme. The booklet features a different weekly theme along with rhyme and song suggestions, messy play activitities and more.
Peppa Pig and Dewin (Mudiad Meithrin's likeable mascot) will be at the launch, and there will be an opportunity to experience a Cylch Ti a Fi session on the day (led by Gwen Edwards, leader of Cylch Ti a Fi Y Dreflan in Mold).
Gwenllian Lansdown Davies. Mudiad Meithrin’s Chief Executive said:
"So many volunteers work tirelessly in communities all over Wales to introduce Welsh to babies, toddlers and their families by running Welsh-medium 'Cylchoedd Ti a Fi'. This booklet will be a brilliant, useful resource which will hopefully enrich the work of all those volunteers".
