This September Mudiad Meithrin has introduced a new services pack for all cylchoedd meithrin (Welsh-medium playgroups) for 2015-2016.
The services pack is available on three levels (Mynydd Du, Pen y Fan and Yr Wyddfa) and the cost of these three different levels reflects the level of service the individual cylch desires.
Dr.Gwenllian Lansdown Davies, Chief Executive of Mudiad Meithrin said:
"Following a review of the registration process for cylchoedd over the last year, it was decided to offer a new services pack for our cylchoedd meithrin by offering three different levels of services to them. The cylchoedd can choose any one of the three levels of service called Mynydd Du, Pen y Fan or Yr Wyddfa. Mynydd Du offers all of the basic services the cylchoedd are accustomed to e.g. a Support Officer who is supported by a team of local specialist staff, the opportunity to apply for a grant from the Mudiad, training, etc. while the highest level of service offered by Yr Wyddfa offers additional services such as registering the cylch as a ‘Charitable Incorporated Organization’.”
"The response from the cylchoedd to the new levels of services scheme has been extremely encouraging and it reflects the growing requirements on voluntary run management committees."
The deadline for registration for this academic year is 30 September 2015.
