On Wednesday, December 13th at 10am at the Town Hall in Flint, the launch of Mudiad Meithrin’s new accreditation quality scheme called ‘Cylch Ti a Fi Serennog’ will be held at Cylch Ti a Fi Y Flint.
The aim of this new accreditation scheme is to help Cylchoedd Ti a Fi to assess whether or not the service offered to children and their parents/carers at the provision is of a high standard and has star quality.
Carys Gwyn (Mudiad Meithrin’s North East Regional Manager) said:
“Very often the first contact a parent has with Mudiad Meithrin is either at a Cymraeg for Kids group or a Cylch Ti a Fi, so it is vitally important that the experience within the Cylch Ti a Fi is of one that attracts the parent and child back again and again. This is the first step towards progression to Welsh-medium education and the opportunity for parents to have fun while hearing the Welsh language being used.”
Durinf the launch there will be an opportunity to create Christmas crafts, meet Dewin and Doti, as well as enjoying a cup of tea and a mince pie of course!
Carys Gwyn added:
“Our intention in launching this scheme is to build on a similar scheme we had in the past and move to ensure the Cylchoedd Ti and Fi are of a high quality in communities the length and breadth of Wales.”
Dr Gwenllian Lansdown Davies (Mudiad Meithrin’s Chief Excecutive said:
“We know that a number of volunteers are working hard to ensure that the welcome and experience of the Cylch Ti a Fi is of the highest quality every week of the year. It’s wonderful to be able to acknowledge that hard work through a specific quality standard scheme for Cylchoedd Ti a Fi”.
