At 2.00pm on Tuesday 24 January Mudiad Meithrin presented a cheque of £100 and a box of Welsh resources to Angharad Ward, Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth. Every Christmas the Mudiad has been actively raising money for charities by wearing Christmas jumpers to work on December the 15th.
The two charities that were supported this year (December 2016) was Angharad Ward, which is the children’s ward at Bronglais Hospital and Save the Children.
Gwenllian Lansdown Davies, Chief Executive of Mudiad Meithrin said:
“Mudiad Meithrin staff donned their Christmas jumpers in aid of ‘Save the Children’ and the Children’s Ward at Ysbyty Bronglais. We’re also pleased to provide the Ward with a box of Welsh resources for the play room”.
Nicola Llewelyn, Head of Hywel Dda Health Charities:
"We would like to thank Mudiad Meithrin for supporting Ward Angharad, Bronglais Hospital. The money and the resources will certainly go a long way to improve the experience for the patient and is appreciated when trying to raise the level of our services. We are extremely grateful to all the staff at Mudiad Meithrin."
