Canolfan Plant Llangefni was officially opened by Jane Hutt, A.M Assembly Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills on the 30th of October 2008.
The Integrated Centre houses several provisions for Mudiad Meithrin:
- Mudiad Meithrin North Wales Office
- Meithrinfa Medra day nursery
- Cylch Meithrin Stryd y Bont (Welsh-medium playgroup)
Mudiad Meithrin North Wales Office
The Integrated Centre houses the new offices for Mudiad Meithrin's core staff in north Wales.
A number of partners share the facilities within the integrated centre, including Anglesey Children and Young People’s Information Service, Flying Start, Rural Family Service and Cylch Meithrin Stryd y Bont. The centre therefore thoroughly deserves the title ‘Integrated’ in view of the wide range of services on offer within its walls.
Extra Support For Parents
Additional support is available for parents, from Mudiad Meithrin staff, Flying Start and Children and Young People’s Information Services Information Services staff based within Canolfan Plant Llangefni.
It’s possible to hire rooms to host meetings within the Integrated Centre.
This room is suitable for meetings for up to 16 people set around a group of tables.
The facilities abailable in this room includes:
- Video conferencing
- LCD Projector
- Laptop and projector for presentations
- Internet access
- Flip chart
- Exhibition area
This is a small room suitable for smaller meetings for a group of 4 - 6 people.
